THACKRAY MUSEUM OF MEDICINE

On behalf of The Creative Core, I assisted with artworking on multiple galleries at the Thackray Museum of Medicine in Leeds. Taking Core’s original design concepts, I rolled out the design in a range of very different looking graphics designed to suit the interpretive themes across what was a huge overhaul for the Thackray. This included typesetting and layout, retouching and image manipulation and working across a number of different substrates from caption panels and wall-mounted interpretation, to corridor-long wallpapers and floor graphics. Prior to the artworking phase beginning, I was also commissioned to photograph a large number of items from the collection for use within the interpretation. The video below is from the Thackray Museum of Medicine website and shows a brief overview of the experience.
